A Grey Medium will be performing a live showcase presented by 99.3 the Fox at the Bourbon, Saturday May 17th for New Music West along side Marble Rye & TV Heart Attack.  AGM takes the stage at 9pm sharp.  Be there early to avoid the rush as the showcase time is set in stone.  Tickets are $10 at the door for this show. Wristbands for $30 are available through www.clubzone.com or www.newmusicwest.com to gain entry to all of the shows during the week-long event (May 14-18).

In 2005, three musicians, Eric D’Alfonso, Patrick Harper, and Damon Steele based in Vancouver, Canada, formed ‘a grey medium.’ The intent was to compose and engineer a project that would blend the unique characteristics of their varying musical influences.

The objective was to join the alluring female vocal tonality of acts like Zero 7, Portishead, & Morcheeba with diverse soundscapes ranging in comparisons to Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, & Nine Inch Nails.

The band began developing their sound, which consists of a solid groove foundation, paired with organic and electronic instrumentation. Once the lyrics and arrangements were complete, the group held auditions and happily named Kelli Stewart as vocalist. Soon after, Kelli relocated from Toronto to Vancouver, contributing her warm, expressive voice to the sessions. With the help of the talented engineer Greg Reely in finalizing mixes, the band is now pleased to release their debut, self-titled EP.

A grey medium will being headlining at The Red Room on Saturday March the 1st 2008, along side special guests Whitfield. Situated at 398 Richards Street, The Red Room is one of Vancouver’s premier music venues, which boasts one of the best layouts to experience live sound. The band is extremely excited to be showcasing some new music and to be paired with such a great band in Whitfield. A grey medium will be performing live on Saturday, November 3rd as part of a dual-bill with local act ‘Organik’ at The Bourbon (50, W Cordova St, Vancouver).  Being that it is only a dual-bill, the band is excited to be performing an extended set in comparison to their previous show.  Tickets are $10 at the door.  They take the stage at 8:45 pm.  Don’t be late… See you there.
